To insert this into your swatch set, click on the Swatches panel (if you can't see it, use View/Studio/Swatches), then click the 3-line 'hamburger' in the top left, Import Palette and finally Application Pallette (so you can see it when editing any image).

About

These are a set of gradients that simulate (and more) the use of neutral density (ND) filters that are placed in front of the lens when taking photographs. They are particularly helpful in rebalancing light across the image, typically darkening bright skies. They can also be used for a wide range of other editing purposes.

Swtach

Swatches let you quickly select colours and gradients. To easily see names of the gradients it is recommended that you click the 'hamburger' (as above) and select Appearance, Show as List.

Gradient filters here are:

  • Black to White

  • Black to White via 75, 50 and 25%

  • Black to 50% Grey

  • 75% Grey to 50% Grey

  • White to 50% Grey

  • Black to Transparent

  • 25% Grey to Transparent

  • 50% Grey to Transparent

  • 75% Grey to Transparent

  • White to Transparent
