Summary

In movies and photography a green background is often used to help select the subject and replace the background with something different. The problem here is to cleanly and smoothly remove the green, which is not always that easy.

In this video we look at various methods and find that the Flood Select tool seems best, though it also introduces other problems, which we then easily address.

Note that you can also use this method on all kinds of other selections, for example when against grass or a coloured background.
