Summary

Here's a really flexible way of doing vignettes that includes fade to corners, moveable, shapeable, fadeable centre, and even an additional aligned lighting method. And quick and easy to boot.

Summary of method:

Draw black rectangle over image.
Fx, gradient, set elliptical gradient white in middle to black at edge and adjust so gradient just gets to black in corners.
Draw white ellipse on top.
Fx, Gaussian blur, 400px.
Group rectangle and ellipse and set group blend mode to Multiply.
This is the basic vignette done.
Select ellipse. Gradient tool, draw across, from transparent to white.
Move tool, Convert to Curves.
Node tool, reshape ellipse to suit.
Copy ellipse to layer just above background. Set blend mode to Overlay and adjust opacity.
