Summary

When making a selection, it can be difficult to see the extent of what you have selected. Flick on the quick mask and everything not selected will appear red, making your selection perfectly clear. Here's how.

Note: When quick mask is on, only some tools will work properly. The selection brush is one of these (so you can continue to use it even when quick mask is on). Refine is not. Turn the quick mask off (Q) when you want to continue.
