SummaryHere's a very quick and easy way to convert a photograph to a High Key image, where colours are much lighter. VideoClick image to watch on YouTube: DetailPublication Date: 05-Dec-21 Duration: 3:14 The basic method is to add a white fill layer below, then use Blend Ranges (gear icon), left graph, pull down right node, turn off Linear, pull down graph to curve and make it more white. You can also duplicate the original layer and mask in areas where too much detail was lost, then reduce opacity to suit (or use a Blend Mode such as 'Darken'). You can also do a monochrome version of this by adding a Black and White adjustment and adjusting the colours to enhance the High Key effect.
