Summary

There are many tools you can use in Affinity Photo (and other editors), and the histogram is one of these. It shows where colours are placed by their value, which relates to their brightness. You can hence use the histogram as a guide for what to change and a measure of how your changes are affecting colour distributions. Here's a bit of help in doing this.
