Techniques > Conversation techniques > Conversational Traps
When talking with others there are a number of traps into which you can fall that lead to others thinking less of you or otherwise being unhappy with what you are talking about (and hence you, too). This includes conversations on social media. Be careful about these, but also do not worry too much. Much of what is described is natural human behavior. Forgive others their transgressions and beware of over-self-monitoring that paralyzes your free flow of chat and conversation.
