DescriptionList the awards and recognition you have received. This may be in a separate 'Awards' section if you have received significant recognition or otherwise in one of the additional information sections towards the end of your resume/CV. State who gave you the award and when this was received. ExampleSalesperson of the Month, Gerbet, 2004 DiscussionAwards show that you have been singled out for recognition and so stand head and shoulders above other people. Such accolades make you stand out and can very much impress potential future employers. If awards are not recent, then you may choose not to include dates. Sometimes educational awards are included in this section, although it is generally better to keep these separate. Particularly where awards are personal rather than professional, they may be indicated in the Personal section. See also |
