SummaryThe Technicolor system was a famous early colouration system for movies and was characterised by saturated colours and a distinctive grading or 'look'. Here, we show several methods that can be used to create this look, including HSL selective saturation, blur, grain noise, off-blacks (with Curves) and a subtle vignette. In another image, a different method is shown for colour adjustment with the powerful Channel Mixer. This can seem tricky, but gives more options in close RGB colour control.
