Observed lessons

  • When an enemy penetrates your land as an 'explosive force', they are weaker than they may seem. They may be exhausted and alone.
  • Get your forces from surrounding towns to target their elite forces. Do this in the dark when you have greater advantage of local knowledge.
  • Repeated attack them, slowing them at every step. Deceive them. Wear them down.

Discussion

When enemies invade your country it can be terrifying and numbing as you feel abused and powerless. You can use this energy to turn the tide back. Attacking enemies always have weaknesses, even when they seem strong. Once you have got past the shock, you can use outrage to fuel your response.

In business, competitors may try to eat your lunch as they invade your core markets. Fight back, but with care so you will win.
