DescriptionDefinition: An issue is a risk that has occurred. In other words it is something undesirable and which generally requires action outside of planned activity and hence may be a threat to timescales. Issues are typically a standing item on management meeting agendas. They typically form the majority of discussion and hence require careful management in meetings. The status of the issue may be flagged as a number (eg. 1 to 5), a simple statement or Red/Amber/Green (RAG). RAG is a popular format as the color is highly visible and and typically flags :
